Training, mentoring and development

From apprentices and graduates to senior specialists, everyone at AFD Systems receives structured development.

We support Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Our structured approach to learning helps you maintain and enhance your skills, knowledge, and competencies throughout your career at AFD Systems.

You’ll receive mentoring, regular training to support your growth plan and access to external courses where they add value. We provide specific training in CAD and FEA tool-sets, and appropriate regulatory awareness including speciality training in topics such as Part21G/J requirements, Safety Management Systems, Human Factors and Compliance Verification.

AFD Systems Apprenticeships

We’re committed to building the next generation of engineers. Our five-year Degree Apprenticeship Programme, delivered with Blackpool and the Fylde College (B&FC), combines academic learning with real project work. Apprentices and graduates rotate through teams, contribute to live programmes early, and are supported by experienced professionals.
