North West Aerospace Alliance Annual Conference 2026

Armed Forces Covenant Business Event – Morecambe

Jerrod Hartley attended an Armed Forces Covenant event focused on the benefits of Covenant membership for businesses. Hosted in partnership with the Lancaster & Morecambe Chamber of Commerce, the session explored how organisations can support veterans and ex‑forces personnel while strengthening their own workforce.

At the event, AFD Systems confirmed plans to subscribe as a Bronze member of the Armed Forces Covenant, underlining the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and inclusive recruitment practices.

AFD Systems attended and exhibited at an Armed Forces Covenant event held within the Warton Enterprise Zone, hosted at the University of Lancashire’s Altitude Centre.

Air Commodore Adam Sampson delivered the military address, sharing insight into current threats and how the RAF is adapting to meet future challenges. AFD Systems was invited to showcase its advanced engineering and additive manufacturing capabilities, highlighting support for system integration, airframe engineering, and high‑integrity test solutions for aerospace and defence customers.
